Ultra is a wireless SCADA and telemetry system. It offers a practical and economical way to monitor more than 1000 remote sites via radio.

The ULTRAc system comprises: The Remote Terminal Unit (UTR / RTU) models 1708 / 1716 and the system controller model 1700.

The UTRs are installed at remote sites and have analog (variable signals) and digital (on/off signals) input and output connections. These inputs and outputs can monitor and control: level, pressure, temperature, security, etc using translators or switches.

The Model 1700 is installed at the central site and connected to a PC. This controller sends and receives data between the central PC and remote sites. The Lookout program (not supplied by SYSCOM) allows the user to monitor, control, show, save, print and interrogate system data from PC (requires operator).
