The MTB family of Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ module can be installed on the PLANET Switch with 10GBASE-SR/LR SFP+ interface.

The range distance can be extended up to
300 meters (Multi-Mode, LC). SFP+ transceivers are hot-pluggable and hot-swappable.

You can connect and remove transceivers to/from any SFP+ port without having to power off the Switch.
