Highlighted technical notes:

  • Make sure the installation is performed by a trained professional.
  • Schedule a maintenance plan to check tension on retainers and tighten bolts.
  • Do not install solar panels higher than 6 meters. Check compatibility between solar cells and mounts.
  • A stress study must be performed when placing an eccentric load on a tower. This can cause excessive torsion and bending in the tower causing structural failures.
  • Every dish antenna must have a radome as an accessory to reduce wind drag.
  • Dishes larger than 2 feet (60 cm) in diameter are not recommended for use on this tower (check with engineering).
  • The declared weight is for the equipment without accessories and without packaging.

Warning:

  • Hot dip galvanizing is recommended for humid areas, salty and/or corrosive environments, industrial parks with gas release (SEE MAP OF AREAS).
  • The tower must be painted according to (at least) CFE specification D8500-02 (7 symmetrical stripes of orange and white colors alternating, starting and ending in orange.
  • It must include night lighting, at least two lights, one in the middle and another at the top.
  • Local regulations should be consulted according to the municipality to ensure a correct and legal tower installation.
