Channel Settings

The airFiber AF-11 can use individual (SISO) or joined (MIMO) channels, based on your specific licensing requirements. The AF-11 also features different channel widths to meet your deployment needs, and can independently set the TX and RX channel frequencies.

Installation requirements

  • Clear line of sight between airFiber devices
  • Vertical mounting orientation
  • Mounting point:
    • At least 1 m below the highest point of the structure
    • For installation in towers, at least 3 meters below the top of the tower
  • Ground wire: minimum 10 AWG (5 mm 2 ) and maximum length: 1 m. As a precaution, connect the airFiber device to a grounded outlet, post, ground connection tower or bar.

    WARNING : If not grounded properly, your warranty will be voided.
