MC1 (EMC1) CONVERTER ETHERNET TO METERBUS OUTSIDE THE ELECTRIC NETWORK.

The new Ethernet MeterBus converter ( MODEL: EMC-1). Enables IP-based network and Internet connectivity to any Morningstar product that has an existing MeterBus port (RJ-11) including the following drivers:

ProStar MPPT

SunSaver MPPT

TriStar PWM

SunSaver Duo

Inversor SureSine

The EMC-1 connects to the Morningstar product's MeterBus port or the DC input for 12, 24 or 48V. The MeterBus port connection also allows serial data transmission to the EMC-1. The EMC-1 converts this connection into a fully enabled Ethernet port to allow data transfer to the Internet.

This makes remote monitoring easier, configuration and control using any type of IP-based network connection. Like this, Many powerful new integration options for Products Morningstar can be established in off-grid solar energy systems:

IP-based MODBUS connectivity for remote communication and control.

Monitoring, remote registration and custom programming using Morningstar's MSstar PC software.

Morningstar Live View displays system status and log data directly from the EMC-1 to a web page.

A cloud-hosted data service is planned to launch in 2017.
