Yale Connect is an ecosystem for opening the door through your SMARTPHONE with Assabloy autonomous locks.

Features:

  • Assign access codes to visitors to open the lock from anywhere in the world via smartphone.
  • Control lock access by date and time.

How does it work?

  • The lock communicates wirelessly (via proprietary protocol) to the HUB.
  • The HUB connected to power also communicates wirelessly to the router in your home or office.
  • Through the router, the device is registered in the cloud to a YALE server.
  • With the Smartphone you enter the personalized account in the YALE Connect APP and from there it is managed and the door is opened.

Frequent questions:

  • Up to how many Hubs can I associate with the application?
    • 16 Hubs can be associated with the application, Considering 16 locks per Hub you can have up to 256 locks in the application.
  • How many administrators does the application support and how many simultaneous users can be associated per HUB?
      • You can only have 1 administrator account, which can be logged in on several devices at the same time.
  • How long does it take to change a password for a specific Hub?
    • T here is a delay of less than a minute when registering a new guest.
  • How long does the battery last in each device?
    • In average use, The battery lasts approximately 1 year, With greater use than normal it can last up to 6 months, The lock gives an alarm when it is going to run out of battery both locally and in the cell phone application.
  • Do you have a demo that I can access of the already installed application associated with Hub and smart locks?
    • At this time there is no demo system, If it would be necessary to have a basic system of 1 lock and 1 Hub to be able to do tests.
  • Is all the management of the equipment done through the application? or can it also be done through computer software or web access?
    • All administration is done from the cell phone application, It is not possible through computer software or web access.
  • Can the system generate reports, opening and closing, pre-alarms or failures, example device battery failure and reporting it to the application, and/or platform?
    • The system displays the opening and closing usage records, by keyboard, manuals or by APP, It also has PUSH notification that indicates the status of the lock, whether it is open or closed. EYE only indicates the status of the lock, not from the door itself, if the door was forced in any way without modifying or forcing the lock, the app will not show it.
  • Is there a way to know if the door is open or closed, Will the equipment have a position sensor or magnetic status contact to differentiate between open and closed? Is this also reflected in the application?
  • As mentioned in the previous question, the application if it has lock status, but not from the door even if there is a magnetic contact.
