The FLX-A-DAM, which is part of the FlipX Advanced series, is the new Grade 3 indoor sensor from OPTEX, with double technology (PIR and microwave) and anti-masking. It features the OPTEX rotating lens for wide and narrow detection in a single sensor. Designed for high security sites, The FlipX Advanced has very high capture performance and advanced sensitivity settings for greater precision and reliability.

Superior detection performance

FlipX Advanced models offer the highest sensing performance among all FlipX sensors, making them the ideal option for high-risk sites. With 80 detection zones and a longer detection range (up to 24 meters), Advanced is the perfect interior security option in high security applications, such as banks, high value stores, warehouses and luxury homes. Advanced models feature double conductive shielding to block RFI waves and light disturbances; They also feature a 'super high sensitivity' setting for greater precision, and the detection function of the immediate area under the sensor, which means nothing escapes the FlipX Advanced.

Double technology

The FLX-A-DAM is a dual technology sensor with combined PIR and microwave detection. Dual technology adds another layer of reliability and precision to the FlipX Advanced, since an alarm will only be activated when both passive infrared detection and microwave detection are activated. What really makes our dual technology sensors stand out is the unmatched quality of our custom-made component, the Tough MOD module , which has been specifically developed to prevent corrosion due to condensation, humidity and other damage due to light or temperature changes.

Active infrared anti-masking

Designed for high security applications, FlipX Advanced features an infrared anti-masking feature that generates an alarm signal when the detector becomes masked. It has two anti-masking functions, one on the surface of the lens and another on the microwave sensor, so that if either of them tries to cover themselves, the sensor will detect it and activate the alarm.

Super high sensitivity

To increase performance and precision, Advanced models go a step further than standard sensitivity settings. Usually, our sensors can be adjusted to have low sensitivity, medium or high, but to make this product even more suitable for high risk places, We have incorporated a “super high sensitivity” function to increase its accuracy and allow detection even when the temperature difference between the human body and the environment is very small.

Easy to install

Like all FlipX models, Advanced aims to make the installation process as easy as possible to save time and efforts. One of its key features is an easily visible multi-color LED indicator. The 180-degree cover lock can also be removed in seconds. The exclusive feature of FlipX Advanced is the removable terminal block for quick and easy wiring and the plug-in end-of-line resistor for simple installation.
