Noise is always a concern, and as more transmitters are deployed, will continue to be
a critical factor in the operation. Although almost all radios have some type of filtering, many use

ePMP employs a sophisticated starvation avoidance algorithm based on priority and air fairness to allocate RF resources to SMs. Assignments are based on airtime rather than performance, so we avoid the situation where SMs in poor RF conditions consume an excessive amount of time and, therefore, available capacity.
