Humo detector for Aspiration | ProPointPlus? 4 Tubes

ProPointPlus
Advanced detection in aspiration. The most sensitive technology on the market
Aspiration detection is now a recognised solution for many different fire detection applications. ProPointPlus provides up to four separate detectors within a common vacuum enclosure and therefore provides four individually identifiable detection areas per vacuum. Each of the four plug-in 'Scatter Chamber Detectors' (SCD) detector modules can be either 'optical only' or combined 'optical/enhanced' CO detectors, the CO sensor is only suitable for small room applications. Independent and integrated alarm decision making using complex algorithms extends the particle detection range, confirms genuine alarms and reduces unwanted alarms. Installation, configuration and commissioning of ProPointPlus detectors is very simple and easy to install. Configuration for Class A, Class B or Class C sensitivity options is achieved via a multi-language, multi-function LCD display, usually without the need for a laptop connection. Detector Configuration allows the installer to set the detector sensitivity to an equivalent setting as a known number of point-type smoke detectors for each Class A, Class B and Class C system. This ensures that the system specifier, designer, installer and commissioning engineer configure the ProPointPlus DCSs to the correct sensitivity for the particular application. Setting the aspirator fan speed and airflow is also a very simple process allowing ProPointPlus aspirating detectors to be installed in a variety of applications with short and relatively long pipe runs.
- The detector has an approximate coverage of 5,000 square meters (54,000sq ft).
- Approximately 90m long per pipe (depends on software calculation)
- To protect open spaces, suction points are placed every 9 meters (30ft) when the height is no greater than 9 meters. When the height is greater than 9 meters, the suction points are every 4.5 meters.
- To protect vents, air conditioners, HVAC or the interior of ducts, sampling points are every 15cm – 30cm
- For ceilings, a capillary is placed that goes from the pipe to the false ceiling. It would be necessary to know the distance from the real ceiling to the false ceiling in order to perform the calculations.
