Pre-polished LC small form factor (SFF) back-lock connectors comply with TIA/EIA-604 FOCIS-10 and contain a factory-terminated fiber, eliminating polish and adhesive in the field. Pre-polished LC connectors have an average insertion loss of 0.3dB per mated pair for multimode and singlemode fiber. Pre-polished LC connectors must captivate the fiber and buffer in a single action, allowing up to two terminations without degradation in performance.
