BATTERY COMBINER 12/24 V 120A

Cyrix-ct 12/24V 120A
Intelligent battery control to avoid unwanted switching
Some battery combiners disconnect a battery in the event of a short but high amperage charge. A battery combiner may also fail to connect a large but discharged bank of batteries because the DC voltage immediately drops below the disconnect value when the batteries are connected.
The Cyrix-ct 12/24 software does more than simply connect and disconnect based on battery voltage and with a fixed time delay. The Cyrix-ct 12/24 checks the general trend and reverses a previous action only if the trend has reversed over a given period of time. The length of time depends on how far the voltage deviates from that trend.
Long bolts allow connection of more than one power cable
Cyrix 12/24 - 120: 13mm (M6)
Protection against overheating
The Cyrix will deactivate in case of excessive contact temperature, and will activate again once it has cooled down.
12/24V self-regulating
The Cyrix-ct 12/24 automatically detects system voltage
No voltage loss
Cyrix battery combiners are an excellent substitute for diode bridges. The main characteristic is that there is practically no loss of voltage, so that the output voltage of the alternators or battery chargers does not need to be increased.
Starter battery priority
In a normal arrangement, The alternator connects directly to the starting battery. Service battery: and maybe also the bow thruster, and other batteries connect, each one, to the starting battery with Cyrix combiners. When the Cyrix detects that the starting battery has reached the connection voltage, will be activated to allow parallel charging of the other batteries.
Voltage sensor and bidirectional supply of both batteries
The Cyrix detects the voltage of both connected batteries. Therefore, it will also be activated if, for example, The service battery is being charged by a battery charger.
The Cyrix-ct 12/24 has dual power. Therefore, It will also disconnect if the battery voltage is too low to operate the Cyrix.
Parallel connection in case of emergency (StartAssist)
The Cyrix can also be activated by a push button or by using a switch to manually connect batteries in parallel.
This is especially useful in an emergency, when the starting battery is discharged or damaged.
