Opti-Core™ fiber optic cables for passive optical LAN applications meet common requirements for 1- and 2-fiber cables for passive optical networks. These OS2 Singlemode indoor cables use a Riser rated yellow thermoplastic (OFNR/FT4) outer jacket; strength elements in aramid and is insensitive to curvatures according to ITU G.657.A1/G.652.D with an adjusted buffer of 900µm. This construction allows the cable to meet the installation and performance demands typically found in PON architectures.
