SAFE Linear Temperature Detection - Linear Heat Detection (LHD)

Uses advanced polymers and a newly developed alloy to provide exceptional detection, durability and design flexibility. At the core of SafeCable is a twisted pair of extremely low resistance tri-metallic conductors, which are lined with new and advanced thermal polymers. These polymers are chemically designed to decompose at specific fixed temperatures, allowing the stranded conductors to make contact and initiate an alarm.

These tanks are constructed of a cylindrical steel frame with an open or closed top with a floating pontoon-type roof. The roof cover floats in the liquid to form a seal and reduce the amount of vapor in the tank. Temperature detection is essential in this type of liquid storage in which it is not possible to carry out spot detection. The heat detector cable is the ideal solution, since it ensures uniform detection, fast and reliable. Every centimeter of the cable acts as a point temperature detector.
