DC BLOCKER 250-2700MHz 500W/3kV -164dBc N TYPE IP65.

DC BLOCKER 250-2700MHZ 500W/3KV -164DBC N TYPE IP65.
Description
Microlab HR-20 series DC blocks are used to prevent the flow of direct current and low frequency spike currents along the inner conductor of a transmission line, while allowing the unimpeded flow of RF signals. Applications include blocking current spikes in underground tunnels, at antenna sites during thunderstorms and for routing DC to tower-mounted amplifiers.
The unit consists of a length of coaxial line with a series capacitor distributed in the center conductor to block the flow of DC and low frequencies, while passing RF with negligible losses or reflections.
