The Kidde P3010L is a 10-year-old sealed battery smoke alarm with photoelectric detection technology and Smart Hush function. The innovative design allows for automatic activation once the unit is fixed to the mounting bracket; there are no pulls or switches & comma; everything is automatic. At the end of the life of the alarm & comma; the unit will beep & comma; indicating that it is necessary to replace the alarm. The customer can use a simple tool & comma; such as a screwdriver & comma; to deactivate the drive & comma; stop the squeak and make it safe for removal. The P3010H contains a 10-year tamper-proof battery that eliminates the need to replace it and eliminates concern about unauthorized battery removal. The alarm provides continuous protection against smoke and fire & comma; even during power outages. This alarm uses photoelectric detection technology. Photoelectric detection alarms can detect visible particles (associated with latent fires) before ionization alarms. Ionization detection alarms can detect invisible fire particles (associated with flames) before photoelectric alarms.
