120V Photoelectric Smoke Alarm

The smoke alarm will be the Kidde P12040 model or approved equivalent. It will be powered by a 120 VCA & comma; 60Hz & comma; 80 mA source along with a 9 V backup battery. The unit will incorporate a photoelectric sensor with nominal sensitivity of 1 & comma;20%/foot at 3 & comma;36%/foot. A maximum of 24 Kidde devices can be interconnected in a multi-station arrangement. The interconnection system must not exceed the limit of 18 initiating devices of the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) & comma; of which 12 may be smoke alarms. With 18 initiation devices (smoke & comma; heat & comma; CO & comma; etc.)& comma; interconnected & comma; it is still possible to interconnect 6 strobe lights or relay modules.
