Professional Tester for UTP, STP and Coaxial Cable (NETcat®Pro2) With Backlit Touch Screen

The NC-500 (NETcat® Pro2) is a digital cable verification and mapping tool. Operated by a backlit touch screen, this tester not only tests cable continuity and proper pair assignment, but measures the length of multi-pair LAN cables or coaxial cables by using advanced high-speed TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry). Additionally, it determines whether network service is available up to Gigabit speed and displays whether power is supplied over Ethernet.

When used with the NC-510 accessory kit containing 7 expansion remote test modules, the NETcat Pro can uniquely test coaxial or twisted pair connectors from a central location, 8 at a time. The display can be used to control and display a variety of tests, from the Search in the store from cable mapping failures to TDR length measurement. The display can be set to English, Spanish, German or French.
